The launch's at-capacity audience was treated to an introduction by Marg, some words from the author, Beverley Baker, and an excellent reading of a section of the novel by Ruth Mary.
The reading brought the listeners on a journey through Rome with one of the book's characters, Margretta, as she experienced the city for the first time on a high school graduation trip. We were left to wonder what would happen next, as she snuck out of the dormitory with a young man who had caught her eye the day before...
